Acıbadem University Atakent Hospital which has international JCI Academic Medical Center Hospitals Accreditation started its operations in 2014. The hospital offers healthcare services in all medical departments. It has agreements with many private insurance companies, as well as accepts patients with a coverage of Turkish Social Security Institute. Indoor area of the hospital is about 60 000 m², and it accommodates 262 beds including 2 beds at cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit, 28 beds in general intensive care, 5 beds in coronary intensive care unit, and 15 beds at pediatric intensive care unit. All of them are designed as separate units at the hospital. There are also 30 beds in the Reanimation department and 32 beds in the Chemotherapy area. Acıbadem University Atakent Hospital’s services cover such medical areas as Cardiology and Cardiovascular surgery, Nuclear medicine, Oncology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Internal medicine and Radiology. There are also Invasive Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery departments at the hospital. The hospital also provide Infant and Child Health Services such as serving newborn infants, babies and children with health-related problems and Neonatal Intensive Caring unit equipped with 27 beds.
