Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital
The building where nowadays takes place Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital was taken into service by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1924. It was restored by Acıbadem Healthcare Group and became a part of health sector of the Group in 2009. The hospital provides services for patients in Kayseri and nearby cities.
Acıbadem Kayseri Hospital provides healthcare services across various specialties, including Ophthalmology, Medical Oncology, Dermatology, Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Nutrition and Dietetics units. The hospital focuses on Cancer and In Vitro Fertilization Center, and in addition to them it provides services in fields of Cardiology, Obesity and Breast Health, Sleep Disorders Clinic, Dermocosmetic practices, Check-Up, Crohn and Colitis, Menopause clinics. There are also administrative offices in the building, conference, meeting and exhibition halls.
The area of the hospital is 22 000 m² and it has capacity of 104 beds, 28 intensive care beds and 6 operating theatres. The building of the hospital is equipped with a smart building technology and consists of 2 separate structures, a historical building and a main building.
There is also a special Decontamination Room against Chemical Injuries inside the hospital. It has separate entrances for ambulances and outpatients and there is a decontamination area designed to be used in case of exposure to nuclear or biological attacks.
