Acıbadem Bursa Hospital

The hospital was the first hospital from Acıbadem Healthcare Group which has started to work outside of Istanbul. Acıbadem Bursa Hospital opened it’s doors for patients in Bursa and surroundings in 2006. The hospital consists from huge Oncology Center including Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology departments, Breast Clinic, IFV Center, Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Department, Cardiovascular Surgery Department and also Organ Transplant Center where kidney, liver and other organs transplants are performed. Acıbadem Bursa Hospital has agreements with many private health insurance companies and also accepts patients with Turkish Social Institute in such departments as Emergency Medicine, Organ and Tissue Transplant, Cardiovascular Surgery, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology departments. The hospital’s covered area is 30.000 m². The hospital boasts 91 patient beds, 42 intensive care unit beds spread across coronary, neonatal, general, and cardiovascular surgery units, along with 7 operating theaters and 1 delivery room. There is a helipad and it is always kept ready to take off for emergency issues. The Emergency department of Acıbadem Bursa Hospital has intervention, resuscitation and observation rooms, as well as Coronary and DSA angiography units. The hospital also has a closed Intensive Care System where patients stay in separate and closed rooms to ensure their confidentiality. For critically ill patients there are well-lit units with appropriate technical infrastructure.
